SMPS is located at the IIRM Phagi Campus and has a state of the art infrastructure equipped with the latest technological aids for administration, research, training & education. In addition, SIIRM has two campuses located in Jaipur and Jodhpur. The city campus at Jaipur houses the Central Office, FMS-IRM & SMPGC. The Phagi Campus is a modern complex, located in over 120 acres of land, just 35 Kms away from the Jaipur campus. The erstwhile Jodhpur campus of FMS-IRM, now known as Faculty of Management Studies, Institute of Rural Management, Jodhpur, is affiliated to AICTE and offers PGDM programme. The Jodhpur Campus located in a serene environment amidst a mountainous terrain also encompasses a B.Ed college as well as a State Resource Centre. The Jodhpur Campus is within the periphery of Jodhpur city.
The library plays a pivotal role in the intellectual pursuits of students and academia at the college. The library is fully computerized and is a veritable storehouse of information with sample text and reference books, national and international periodicals & journals, thesis & dissertations. The library has a special collection of prescribed text books, latest research papers, reference materials in print along with the facility to refer to e-journals, CDs, project reports, government publications, reports, newsletters & back volumes related to management, information technology, mass communication, hospitality management, fashion, science etc. for the reference of the students and the faculty alike.
The Medical Officer carries out medical checkup PERIODICALLY. Vaccination and Inoculation for cholera and typhoid are compulsorily administered to all students unless they produce a certificate from a qualified and registered medical practitioner that they have already been inoculated /vaccinated. Parents/ guardians seeking admission for their sons/wards will have to fill up a performa mentioning any allergy or anything particular relating to their ward’s health for the information of the school medical officer. All students are medically checked up at regular intervals. Their weight and height are recorded at the beginning and at the end of each term. In case of serious illness, the Parents are kept informed about their daily progress
Housing over 180 high-end internet enabled computers, SMPS has one of the best IT infrastructures among best school of India. It is adequately equipped with modern hardware and software and staffed with qualified personnel. so as to enable them to make the best use of the facilities available at the campus. The 24×7 Wi-fi enabled campus encourages the students to keep themselves updated with the latest of everything.
An M.B.B.S. qualified doctor visits the school every day to look after the health and hygiene of the students. Students who require further care and treatment are referred to the St. Thomas Hospital, or to the Eye Hospital for eye ailments. Routine medical checkups of all students is carried out every year. Medical leave is only granted if the school authorities in consultation with RMO feel that the requisite facilities are not available at our hospital. Parents of their own cannot come and seek the medical leave of the child studying in the school.
School provides the facilities to have the latest information related to their subjects and references. School has dedicated internet connectivity and is accessible for 24 hours. Institute also has Wi-Fi connectivity through out the school campus. The server room is connected to all the departments through LAN, Internet.
The campus is under 24 x 7 CCTV surveillance. All entry & exit points are manned by security personnel. Only registered students and staff members can enter/exit the campus premises, that too after undergoing bio-metric security checks. Visitors are required to take prior appointments and approval of the desired office.
Three large Dining Halls in three independent sections possess a well-balanced food menu service to satiate the students’ appetite. Cooking and serving is supervised by HMs.Good quality The food is vegetarian though eggs are also served to a few. Special diet is provided on medical advice. Housemasters, Assistant House Masters and Tutors take their meals with the students.
The school maintains a stable with 06 horses and has a well qualified riding instructor and syces. Riding is compulsory for all students from classes VI to XII. Every student is required to pass the riding test at the end of the session. A number of students achieve very high proficiency in term like vaulting, jumping, hurdles and tent-pegging.
The school presently under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Sudhakar Chaturvedi enjoys since one year. Every year from the grandeur of pink dawn to flaming orange sunset the School celebrates Founder’s Day on 31st of August .
SMPS strongly believes in keeping the students and their parents regularly updated about the student’s academic as well as co-curricular progress. Hence SConnect, a student – faculty – parent online web portal was developed. SConnect offers a platform for students to review attributes like attendance, fee, academic profile, feedback, training & placement details, online library system, newsletters, official downloads etc. The privileges of SConnect are extended to the parents as well via their individual Parent Login. Parents can regularly monitor the progress of their ward throughout the academic session. Faculties regularly update the students’ records and hence are aware of the day-to-day performance of the students. This ensures that faculties individually vigil the students’ progress and counsel them more efficiently.SConnect can strictly be used only by authorized personnel (Students, Parents & Staff).
